As we have seen in part 1 our nation follows different cultures and styles for years and it is still the same, so let’s know more about them in detail.
• Bengali bride – Usually Bengali bride wears white or off white sarees with shades of pink, red and maroon borders for almost all the various occasions. But the traditional bride costume is mostly red or maroon color which is made of banarasi silk saree with zari works.

The major part of Bengali bride is the Alta that is applied on the feet of the bride. The bright red bindi and the areas below chins are at times painted with beautiful designs with white and red dots.
• Tamilian bride – Highlight of a Tamilian bride is her jewelry. A Tamilian bride will have her hair plated and that plated hair will be decorated differently.

Most brides wear multi-layer neckpiece made out of gold. Their head will be completely decorated with gold ornaments, a long earning moving up till her bun is their traditional wear. They mostly wear bright colored kanjeevaram sarees with zari border.
• Telugu bride – They usually come in two outfits, in the beginning, she is brought in by her brother and maternal uncle in a bamboo basket and then she wears a traditional silk saree completely with all the jewelry. Then for the muhurta, she changes her costume to a white cotton saree with a red border.

• Malayali bride – Just like other south Indian brides these Malayali brides use more metal jewels. For the wedding, they wear white silk saree with golden border and they prefer floral jewelry to match up with their outfit and the necklace and bracelet made up of white and orange flowers.
