Dandruff is a condition of the scalp which causes flakes of skin that appears and it also causes itching. The cause of dandruff is unknown but it has chances to increase its risk. It is quite had to get await it but there are remedies to treat.

Dandruff is a common condition that is not related to hygiene but washing and brushing your hair helps in removing skin flakes. There are various treatments available you can cure them by consulting doctor or by natural home remedies. So let us check out the remedies to stop dandruff. 

Dandruff is caused because of three main reasons 

•    Stress is one main reason that can trigger dandruff in people and so managing it can reduce dandruff.

•    If you have oily hair then shampooing your hair daily and washing it will reduce dandruff.

•    Tea tree oil might helps in reducing the symptoms of dandruff at the same time it can cause allergic reactions for some people.

Treatments to cure 

There are dandruff shampoos available online and that can help in curing. Most anti-dandruff or anti-fungal shampoo contains some ingredients like

•    Ketoconazole which is an effective antifungal and shampoos containing this ingredient can be used to people of any age.

•    Selenium Sulphone helps in reducing the production of natural oil in the scalp.

•    Zinc pyrithione slows down the growth of yeast.

•    Coal tar has a natural anti-fungal ingredient where dyed or treated hair gets stained after some days. Tar soap helps in making the scalp more sensitive to sunlight 

•    Salicylic acids help the scalp to get rid of skin cells and it can leave the scalp. The treatment can sometimes leave the scalp dry and can make skin flaking a little worse.

•    Tea tree oil is derived Australian Tea tree where many shampoos include this ingredient and also some people are allergic to it. 

There are 10 main possible factors that can because of dandruff 

•    People with Seborrheic dermatitis have likely to get affected by dandruff and it affects many areas of the skin which includes the eyebrows, backs of the ears and sides of the nose.

•    Not enough hair brushing causes dandruff, Combing or brushing regularly reduces the risk of dandruff as it aids in shedding of the skin.

•    People who are sensitive to yeast have chances of getting dandruff and so yeast plays a part. Dandruff is always worst during the winter month and better when the weather is warmer.

•    People with dry skin are likely to have dandruff as cold winter is combined overheats and it causes itching and flaking skin. 

•    Certain hair products trigger and frequent shampooing cause dandruff as it can irritate the scalp.

•    Food items without zinc, Vitamin and some types of fats can increase the risk 

•    Dandruff is more likely from adolescence through middle age and it can be lifelong.
