• Marwari bride – A traditional Marwari bride has a heavily embellished lehenga or saree which is embroidered with gold or silk work. The one main thing to be noted about the bride is their jewel stands equal in competition with the bridal outfit which is very heavy together.

• Gujarati bride – A Gujarati bride’s outfit is concerned more with her tradition and it is deeply connected to her community. Unlike Indian brides, they wear saree where the pallu faces the front. At the day of the wedding Gujarati bride wears two costumes one is panetar and the other is gharchola.

Panetar is a saree designed white saree with red golden dots on the border and they are all handmade and it is considered to be the last gift from her parents and relatives from the maternal side. Gharchola is a bright red silk saree given by her in-laws as a sigh on acceptance as their daughter.
• Andhra Bride – The most elegant and simple bride in the overall list is the Andhra bride. In their wedding, they keep minimal jewels like a neckpiece, earing and a bajubandh. Their bridal wear is mostly a silk saree with checked and pattern works in it.

• Kashmiri Bride – Pheran is the traditional outfit for the entire Kashmiri bride which is made of ari or hook embroidery designs in the neck. It can be in red, yellow or pink in color.

The headwear includes Kalpush along with Zoojh which is white color cloth with golden glaze paper and altogether this set is called as Tarang. The bride can wear either lehenga or saree with Kashmiri embroidery which is must and as a tradition, they wear a headwear.
