The power of Omega

Omega fatty 3 acids are found in foods like fish and dietary foods. Omega 2 fatty acids are polyunsaturated fat that beneficial to our health.

Researchers conducted many surveys and researches and found that Omega -3s has many beneficial factors. It helps in 

  • Preventing and reduce the symptoms of depression 
  • It protects against memory loss
  • It  stays as a support for the health of  pregnancy people 
  • It helps in sharpening the memory power 
  • It has the power to cure joint pain and inflammatory disease

Omega 3 is found in food items like Beans, walnut, mayonnaise, Spinach, eggs and mainly in fish. There are many omega 3 and fish oil supplements as fish contains no mercury and very low amount of other containments.

The need for omega -3

Our human body can produce fat from other fats or raw materials but that cannot be done in the case of omega-3 fats. Omega 3 is a part of cell membrane which is throughout the body that can affect the function of the cell receptors in the membrane. They bind to the receptors in the cell which regulates the genetic function.

This omega -3 fat are a key family of polyunsaturated fats and there are three main types in it. They are 

  • Eicosatetraenoic acid known as EPA and docosahexaenoic acid known as DHA which comes mainly from fish and so they are named as Marine omega 3s.  
  • Alpha –linolenic Acid  (ALA) which is found in vegetable oil and nuts mainly in walnut and in some fats of animals  mostly in all the herbivorous animals.

Omega-3 fatty acid is becoming as a very important tool in the stream of medicine which benefits every human being in spite of age. Omega 3s are very important for the health of children right from their birth and even before.

Omega 3s intake is been recommended to all the pregnant women for the health of baby. For adults consumption of omega3 food items help in better health and reduce depression. As you grow old there are chances of getting heart problems and Omega -3 has enormous benefits that can help people suffering from cardiovascular problems.
