Those who have no time for healthy eating will sooner or later have to find time for illness.

Imbalance nutrition leads to death. Nearly 20% of cancer patients died because of serious consequences of malnutrition.  A balanced nutrition is the one that provides sufficient nutrition to our body to make it function properly.

Your diet is a bank account. Good food choices are good investments.

The number of calories in food is a measurement of amount of energy that is stored in food. Human body consumes energy all the time. An average person needs to consume about 2000 calories a day.

Here is the chart which depicts calorie consumption depending on age of a person 

Age Calorie consumption
2 to 8 years children1000 to 1400
9 to 13 years girls1,400 to 1,600
9 to 13 years boys 1,600 to 2,000
Active women ages 14 to 30 years 2,400
Sedentary women age 14 to 30 years1800 to 2000
Active men age 14 to 30 years 2,800 to 3,200
Sedentary men age 14 to 30 years 2000 to 2,600

Why balanced diet is necessary 

A balanced diet is very necessary organs and tissues need proper nutrition to work effectively. Improper nutrition will lead to infection, disease and poor performance. Children with poor diet have very bad high risk of growth and development problems.

A good diet is important for our health. A healthy diet should provide us with the right amount of energy. Food and drinks provide the calories that are needed to daily lives. Eating necessary amount of calories is very sufficient to maintain healthy weight. A balanced diet is not about eating the right food but having them at correct time in right proportion. When you chew your food properly and eat fresh fruits and vegetables everyday then your diet is stable and good.

Excess food consumption leads to weight gain, if you want to stay healthy and fir then avoid eating when you don’t have appetite.
